Elliptic Labs Shipping with vivo on the iQOO Z11 Turbo Smartphone

Oslo, Norway — Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Proximity Sensor INNER BEAUTY^® is shipping on vivo’s iQOO Z11 Turbo smartphone, bringing reliable AI-powered proximity performance while enabling cleaner front-facing designs and reduced hardware complexity.

vivo’s iQOO Z11 Turbo has launched and is shipping in China.

To deliver this experience, vivo is running Elliptic Labs’ AI software on its partner Qualcomm’s chipset:

iQOO Z11 Turbo: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5

By replacing traditional hardware sensors with a software-only approach, vivo gains greater flexibility in industrial design and the ability to streamline internal components — while maintaining robust proximity performance for calls and everyday use.

Elliptic Labs announced the contract for this deployment in January 2025, and shipments are now underway.
