Oslo, Norway — Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Proximity Sensor INNER BEAUTY^® is shipping on the HONOR Win, Win RT, Power2, and X8d smartphones, bringing reliable AI-powered proximity performance while enabling cleaner front-facing designs and reduced hardware complexity.

The HONOR Win, Win RT, Power2, and X8d smartphones are all available globally.

To deliver this experience, HONOR is utilizing Elliptic Labs’ AI software on both Qualcomm chipsets and MediaTek chipsets:

By replacing traditional hardware sensors with a software-only approach, HONOR gains greater flexibility in industrial design and the ability to streamline internal components — while maintaining robust proximity performance for calls and everyday use.

Elliptic Labs announced the contract for this deployment in March 2024, and shipments are now underway.
